Choose a floating vanity for the room, not the trend

Visible floor beneath the cabinet gives a small or tightly detailed bathroom more breathing room. The effect is strongest when the cabinet has a simple underside and the plumbing remains concealed.

Our starting preference is a floating vanity in rooms where visual lightness matters more than maximum cabinet volume. Choose a floor-supported vanity when wall structure, installation access, or storage makes the floating form an expensive compromise.

The wall becomes part of the cabinet

A floating vanity transfers its working load into the wall. The qualified installer must verify framing or another suitable support method, the mounting system, wall finish, and fasteners for the exact product and site condition. A clean photograph does not reveal that work.

Plan the finished height from the actual assembly

Cabinet height, top thickness, basin style, and floor finish all affect the installed result. Have the cabinet and top available before the mounting and plumbing positions are finalized. This is not the place to let a generic diagram stand in for the delivered product.
